One player has a space bombardment. One time he ceeded
control, one time he controlled it self. Both times he was waiting on
Resolving remaining space bombardments and the other to were waiting on Space
Bombardment screen. Nothing happens then. This occurs in the last hour of our
playing very often.

UI

Sometimes (read: not often, but it's annoying when it
happens), the cursor will lock to either the "up" scrolling arrow,
or the "down" scrolling arrow on the galaxy map<snip> When on
the galaxy map, the map scrolls in the indicated direction, and cannot be
directed to scroll in the opposite one (although it scrolls fine left and
right). I believe this is related to the directx surface unavailable bug, but
could be a different one, altogether. Fix:
I got rid of it by right-clicking and scroll-clicking...Another
fix:
Try switching to the system cursor.

Auto Run
|
If you press the ‘esc’ key multiple timesduring the auto
run of turns, you will be booted to you desktop, and the game will terminate
w/o any error mseeages. This is
actually kind of useful if you see that the auto run isn’t working out so well. But it should crash to desktop.

minor alt-tab bug - if you alt-tab out of space combat,
when you return the control panel is repainted but the combat field is not. I
wasn't controlling the combat, and it was just two scouts casting evil looks
at one another, so it wasn't a problem.

And finaly, the Military AI has an unhealthy attraction
to System Colony ships... I had one system Queue up 9 of them... (3 planets)
and there was only ONE planet left to colonize... and it was a Red 2 that I
didnt want at the moment.

When designing a ship, and you put missiles on it. It
appears that the # of missler per rack, and the # of racks text strings are
switced. So when you increase the #
of racks, you are actually increasing the # of missles per rack and visa
versa. Fix
Found out where the problem is. Te are two lines in the
file wsShipDesignScreen.txt that read:
code:_________________________
|SDSTXT40|"MISSILES PER RACK:"
|SDSTXT42|”RACK
COUNT:”______
change them to:
code:_________________________
|SDSTXT40|"Rack Count"
|SDSTXT42|”Missiles per Rack”____
Note
that I changed the case and dropped the colens. Due to the size of the text
boxes, the word 'RACK' scrolls out of sight if all caps are used in the
SDSTXT40 text box caption. You could also remedy this situation by choosing a
smaller font. OR
You
could put in "MISSILE SALVOS:" instead of ”Missiles
per Rack” this would simplify things,
and allow for all CAPS

my 2
friends got MY Sitrep after reloading the game... not very nice for MP Games. Reply I don't think when you save a
game it is saving all the sitreps, just yours. When you go to load a MP game,
usually you are working with a copy of the host's save game. I would guess
that the code just looks of a sitrep and displays it on the load, but does
not check whose sitrep it is.

If you
trade for a tech which is not in your tree, it gets added to your tree as
completed, but does not go through the processing which actually adds the
modifiers for an achievement to your empire (although clearly it should). If
the tech IS in your tree (and just higher level than you have), then I think
it should work properly.

Typo’s
|
1)
In the
text description of the human leader, Nemiko Zaniko, the non-word “hisr” is
present instead of the word “his”.
2)
On the
Development Plans tab of the Empire Screen, the Planet Classification for
Mining reads “Miing”.
3)
In the
Tech Descriptions for the Enveloping Hellfire Cannon, Enveloping Plasma
Cannon and Enveloping Megabolt Cannon, there is a line that reads “Increases Armor
Piercing Efficiency by by 50%”. This error may occur in more
Enveloping Weapon descriptions, but it does not occur, at the very least, in
the Enveloping Fusion Cannon’s description.
4)
Many,
many technologies have a space after their name. In the Technology Matrix,
therefore, they have a space between their name and the comma that follows in
the Selected Item Information. For example, when Cloning Complex is selected,
the Selected Item Information reads: “Cloning Complex , LEVEL 13”.
5)
In the
description of the technology, Cloning Complex, the first sentence is
inconsistent in its plurality. It reads “Region that deploys a cloning
complex benefit from a fundamentally improved medical system”. It should
start with either “Regions that deploy a cloning complex benefit
from...” or “A region that deploys a cloning complex benefits
from...”.
6)
In the
description of the technology, Z Storage and Basing Facilities, the forth
line of technology statistics (at the end of the description) is not indented
like the others are.
7)
In the
“Military Info” screen under “Planetary Bases” text overlaps itself only if
there is one or two large paragraphs of text.
8)
Matter
Facilitators, a of Spaceport techs has a line "handles" after its name.
